Description khartsoe@redhat.com 2020-11-11 17:50:21 UTC
The following statement (bullet):

"To configure OpenShift Container Platform in compact mode, see Configuring a three-node cluster and Delivering a Three-node Architecture for Edge Deployments. [Technology Preview]"

needs to be removed from the following two OCS 4.6 documents:

(1) Deploying OpenShift Container Storage on VMWare vSphere
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openshift_container_storage/4.6/html-single/deploying_openshift_container_storage_on_vmware_vsphere/index?lb_target=preview#requirements-for-installing-openshift-container-storage-using-local-storage-devices_local-storage

(2) Deploying OpenShift Container Storage using Amazon Web Services
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openshift_container_storage/4.6/html-single/deploying_openshift_container_storage_using_amazon_web_services/index?lb_target=preview#requirements-for-installing-openshift-container-storage-using-local-storage-devices_local-storage

The following two statements need to add bare metal support clarification (new text identified within " " :

(1) OpenShift Container Storage can now be installed on a three-node OpenShift compact cluster "on bare metal", where all the workloads run on three strong master nodes. There are no worker or storage nodes.

(2) To configure OpenShift Container Platform on a compact cluster "on bare metal", see Configuring a three-node cluster and Delivering a Three-node Architecture for Edge Deployments.
