Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:
Due to cmake changes in Fedora 33+, dnf required a modified spec (See https://github.com/rpm-software-management/dnf/commit/b68f5fa70e02d382edf5e43c9d425018c47ec427). On the other side new macros cannot be used with the old cmake - Fedora 31, 32, RHEL8.

My work as DNF developer requires often to create builds for Fedora and RHEL therefore it requires additional time to modify spec.

I suggest to move back old build macros as conditional part of spec to provide old cmake compatibility.

Actual results:
Upstream dnf spec cannot be used for RHEL8 builds

Expected results:
Upstream dnf spec can be used for RHEL8, Fedora 31+ builds

Please notify the CMake maintainer that they need to fix bug 1858983 for you instead.
