Description Micah Abbott 2020-11-18 16:37:16 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1899175 +++

RHCOS has identified a number of improvements to the first boot experience that we wish to provided via a new set of boot images.

The RHCOS build with these improvements has not been made yet, but this serves as the BZ that can be used to submit a PR to the installer.

Additional BZs that will block this BZ will be made for the components in RHCOS that need to be updated before making the updated boot images.

Comment 1 Scott Dodson 2020-11-25 16:53:00 UTC
I've set blocker+ because we should ensure that we bump the boot image this week.

Comment 5 Gaoyun Pei 2020-12-02 04:21:34 UTC
QE verified the new RHCOS boot image - rhcos-46.82.202011260640-0 works well on AWS/GCP/Azure/vSphere-7.0/OSP-13, including IPI and UPI way, Secure boot on vSphere. No booting issue happened with payload 4.6.0-0.nightly-2020-12-01-160400.
