The experimental support of using dpdk to connect host NICs to VMs was introduced in 2017 into oVirt [1].
The integration into oVirt was improved in 2018 [2].

Currently, it looks like that users never started to use this feature [3].

For this reason the integration of dpdk into oVirt should be dropped.

This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.4.4 release, published on December 21st 2020.

Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in oVirt 4.4.4 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE.
