If we're wrong, PLEASE feel free to reopen it and explain why. Version: $ openshift-install version v4.6 Platform: baremetal Please specify: IPI Assisted What happened? While installing OpenShift on Bare Metal with the Assisted Installer at the step Generate Discovery ISO dialog box pops up to enter the ssh id_rsa.pub file. For the id_rsa.pub file 1389 character long generates error "Failed to download the discovery Image Request failed with status code 500" For the file less than 1389 for example: 745 character long it successfully downloads the ISO image. I am attaching outputs for both the results. #See the troubleshooting documentation (https://github.com/openshift/installer/blob/master/docs/user/troubleshooting.md) for ideas about what information to collect. What did you expect to happen? Should be able to successfully download the Discovery image How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible)? 1) Log in to https://cloud.redhat.com/openshift 2) Select create cluster 3) Bare metal -> Assisted bare metal installer 4) cluster name -> Generate discovery ISO image -> enter ssh id_rsa.pub key Attached output of discover-image success and error, when used with specific character id_rsa.pub keys.
