Currently, it breaks assisted installer
Logs: https://prow.ci.openshift.org/job-history/gs/origin-ci-test/logs/periodic-ci-openshift-assisted-test-infra-release-4.7-e2e-metal-assisted-periodic?buildId=1331296721291972608 Currently assisted sets platform=baremetal but without a provisioning CR. This seems like maybe it's not handled correctly? We'll take a look, thanks!
Is passing job enough to verify this one or do we have other ways of testing? How else can I test that it's passing?
Yes, you are able to proceed with your expected assisted -install behavior as expected covers most functionality. In addition you can check that the "baremetal" ClusterOperator says Available is True.
@sdasu, we don't have a working 4.7 env with assisted yet. So for the option of backport I verify this one with OtherQA. @Rom, feel free to reopen if needed
