Description of problem: Add MTV pods logs to Openshift "must-gather" log collector. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): MTV-2.0
I have created the upstream repository: https://github.com/konveyor/forklift-must-gather.
https://github.com/konveyor/forklift-must-gather/pull/1
This should be part of build 2.0.0-8 / iib:62459. The image is not deployed by the operator, because it needs to be run manually. The instructions are in the README of the upstream repo: https://github.com/konveyor/forklift-must-gather. The image to use is registry-proxy.engineering.redhat.com/rh-osbs/rhmtv-rhmtv-must-gather:2.0.0, as it always points to the latest build.
AFAIU, the CDI and VMIO controller logs are collected, not the importer and conversion pods logs, since the pods are deleted when the VirtualMachineImport completes. This will be part of a new change, once MTV implements the new Plan state named Archived. This will always create VirtualMachineImport in debug mode, and will keep the assets until the plan is archived. So, for any plan that is not archived, must-gather will be able to collect the importer and conversion pods logs. But not now.
Created attachment 1776548 [details] must-guther
pprof_raw_payload is missing from: must-gather/memory-profiles/openshift-rhmtv/pprof_raw_payload is missing (full gz attached)
Verified https://deploy-preview-102--forklift-documentation.netlify.app/documentation/doc-migration_toolkit_for_virtualization/master/#installing-mtv-cli_forklift https://deploy-preview-102--forklift-documentation.netlify.app/documentation/doc-migration_toolkit_for_virtualization/master/#migrating-virtual-machines-cli_forklift all MTV CR apiVersion are forklift.konveyor.io/v1beta1
Looking on attached must-gather archive, its content looks well to me. The memory profile was not part of this BZ (depends on MTC), I'm about remove the memory profile section from forklift must-gather.
