Clark Hale suggested in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1900273#c6 to document this right after the installation section:

> I think that would be good enough, but more optimal, but more work, might be to have a "Next Steps" section in the OpenShift Virtualization Installation section part that links out to various "configuration activities" AFTER installing the operator that a user may wish to do, like enabling this MAC Address pool.

I quite like the idea, since users would not need to read all the way to the network documentation. Is this doable Andrew?

@phoracek That's a great idea - thanks for copying it across.
We can use that same space for a couple of other post-configuration tasks (HPP CR springs to mind) that people might want to be aware of after a fresh install. That's probably out of scope for this bug so we'll create a story for those broader tasks.

PR ready for review:
https://github.com/openshift/openshift-docs/pull/28031
(Will add the preview links to the PR description once the build is ready)

Added links to KubeMacPool (and HPP) to Next Steps in the two Install (web and cli) assemblies.
Also added a Note about KubeMacPool to virt-attaching-vm-multiple-networks and virt-using-the-default-pod-network-with-virt as initially suggested.

Israel - FYI:
I verified this PR for both the KubeMacPool and HPP references, so from my POV - it can be moved to "Verified", unless there is something else you need to verify here.

PR merged and cherry-picked to 2.4, 2.5, and will be included in 2.6
