Description Wei Duan 2020-11-30 04:02:11 UTC
Description of problem:
Cinder csi driver does not use the downstream images now.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install OSP cluster and cinder csi driver is installed.

2. Check image uesd in CSI driver pods:
oc -n openshift-cluster-csi-drivers get pod -o yaml | grep "image:"

3. Check the image

Actual results:
We did not use the downstream images yet
      image: quay.io/fedosin/cinder-csi-plugin:latest
      image: quay.io/fedosin/origin-openstack-cinder-csi-driver-operator:latest
      image: quay.io/openshift/origin-csi-external-attacher:latest
      image: quay.io/openshift/origin-csi-external-provisioner:latest
      image: quay.io/openshift/origin-csi-external-resizer:latest
      image: quay.io/openshift/origin-csi-external-snapshotter:latest
      image: quay.io/openshift/origin-csi-node-driver-registrar:latest

Expected results:
We need to use downstream images including operator, csi-driver and all sidecar images.

Comment 2 Wei Duan 2020-12-03 09:00:46 UTC
Cinder csi driver now uses the downstream images.
The csi-driver and operator image are all based on RHEL8.
