Description of problem: vim is not installed, but vim-minimal. zsh is installed and the user shell. Invoking `vim` in zsh fails with "read: -p: no coprocess". Invoking `vim` in bash gives "No vim found, using vi, press ENTER to continue" and starts vi (aka vim-minimal) upon ENTER. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): $ rpm -q vim vim-minimal zsh package vim is not installed vim-minimal-8.2.1941-1.fc32.x86_64 zsh-5.8-1.fc32.x86_64 Additional info: `read` builtin uses -p to configure the prompt on bash, on zsh -p reads from coprocess, you'd use `read "OUTVARNAME?PROMPT"` to achieve the same.
Hi Jonathan, thanks for reporting the issue and the tip! Hmm... I'll try to cover this in vim.sh.
