Description Takashi Kajinami 2020-12-17 03:51:45 UTC
Description of problem:

In bz 1873470, the new --python-interpreter option was added to "openstack tripleo validator run" command so that we can select the correct python interpreter.
However this is not yet documented. We should update the command to run validation of the pre-upgrade requirements to use that option in our current document[1].
 $ openstack tripleo validator run --group pre-upgrade --python-interpreter /usr/libexec/platform-python

Hi Vlada,

Thank you for working on this doc bug.

I've checked the updated version but I'm afraid that the update is incomplete.

We should add
 --python-interpreter /usr/libexec/platform-python
but the current command doesn't include "/usr/libexec/platform-python".

Could you please check that ?

Thank you,
Takashi

Hi Takashi,

Thank you for pointing that out, I totally missed that.
Will fix this now.
