Description of problem: Using "timezone --isUtc America/Boise" fails, even though the option --utc has superceded it. Backward compatibility should have been maintained. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Install from a Kickstart file containing "timezone --isUtc ..." Steps to Reproduce: 1. make a boot DVD with a Kickstart file 2. set the timezone to be --isUtc wherever 3. install Actual results: The install will fail because the ks.cfg files to parse. Expected results: Expected warning about --isUtc being deprecated. Additional info:
This will be fixed in pykickstart-0.28.
Thank you for the bug report. Fedora 8 ships with "pykickstart-1.19-1.fc8", which contains some fixes for the "--isUtc" option. Can you retest this with the latest release of Fedora? Setting status to "NEEDINFO".
