Description of problem: We currently do not validate the exposed route in the UI, we only validate it from the controller. We also do not specify that we are interested in a route host rather than a full URL. We want to change the wording from: "Exposed route to image registry" to "Exposed route host to image registry". In the helper text bubble we want to also mention that a user can optionally include a port, otherwise port 5000 will be used. Additionally, we will want to prevent a user from specifying the protocol (http/https) in the URL. The UI should either strip the protocol or warn the user if the protocol is set to remove it. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.4.0 Additional info:
Verified using MTC 1.4.2 Verified using MTC 1.4.2 openshift-migration-rhel7-operator@sha256:20cb66a4cc32bd51c111afda54461af5c2834fe0fccc93baed6134e8cbafc480 - name: MIG_UI_REPO value: openshift-migration-ui-rhel8@sha256 - name: MIG_UI_TAG value: 87160719e819b9e5b1979b1665d056c704f2a63e024eaf266079c676769321f2 The text is now: "Exposed route host to image registry" The helper text now mentions the optional port. The UI will strip the https/http part of the url. Moved to VERIFIED status.
