The name of the fedora OS PVC in the `openshift-virtualization-os-images` namespace was changed from 'fedora32' to 'fedora' in a previous bugfix: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1897081 We plan to have a seamless transition from the fedora32 PVC to the fedora PVC with CNV 2.7 (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1907471), until then, we want to have a release note/known issue for CNV 2.6 to document how to workaround the issue: Users who already populated the 'fedora32' PVC (in CNV 2.5), will not see it in the VM creation screen and cannot clone a VM with it Workaround: CNV Admin should upload a fedora image to the 'fedora' PVC instead Result: VM creation works as expected
You say "The name of the Fedora PVC in the openshift-virtualization-os-images namespace is fedora32, instead of fedora32." I think you mean "fedora instead of fedora32". Otherwise /lgtm
Bob, there is just "..namespace is fedora32, instead of fedora32" that needs to be changed, once that done, lgtm
The fix PR https://github.com/openshift/openshift-docs/pull/29268 lgtm
