Description of problem: OPS 16.1 - ml2/ovs deployment Issue: VM creation issues on specific networks with "unable to allocate port" failures Neutron port creation would hang on the DHCP agents until timeout causing VM deployment to fail. dhcp agent logs were not very helpful; however after tracing down the issue we see old dhcp lease information in the dnsmasq files (old MAC addresses). After clearing those old entries port creation would work again. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 16.1 How reproducible: unknown - intermittent in this specific environment Steps to Reproduce: 1. unknown 2. 3. Additional info: environment specific details to follow in private comments
I opened new u/s bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/neutron/+bug/1913269 which may be related to that issue. Fix for that bug is proposed in u/s master branch: https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/neutron/+/772492
Thanks Rodolfo!
