There is popup too:- ~~~ All attached disks will be included in the snapshot. Create snapshot of running VM from VM Portal. 2. 3. Actual results: No option to deselect "Save Memory" like Administration Portal. Expected results: Option to create snapshot without saving memory of running VM. Additional info:
Hi Ameya, We won't be able to handle this for 4.4.5 already so I'll target it for 4.4.6. We still didn't plan 4.4.6 but it seems doable.
Steps: 1) Login to VM portal as user with UserRole and VMManager roles (system) 2) Check that you can create snapshot with or without saving memory on running VM 3) Check that snapshot created with save memory can be restored correctly 4) Check that there is not save memory option on not running VM Results: Save memory option is implemented in the VM portal and shown on running VM when user wants to create a snapshot for it. By default, the option is set to yes. Snapshot created like this can be restored properly. Not running VMs do not have this option present. Verified in: ovirt-engine-4.4.6.6-0.10.el8ev.noarch ovirt-web-ui-1.6.9-1.el8ev.noarch
