Followed Hao's steps: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable the pulp debug log level and restart Pulp services 2. On Satellite Web UI, create a content view name "cv_rhel_8", set the "solve dependencies" to "Yes" 3. Add "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 for x86_64 - BaseOS (RPMs)" repository to the CV. 4. Create a filter to include all errata until 1st Oct 2020. 5. Create a filter to include all rpms without errata. 6. Create a filter to Include all Module Streams with no errata 7. Publish the content view 8. Register a rhel 8 host to the CV. 9. Run dnf update on the host. Expected: Content view should be published successfully. Any packages that needed update should be updated successfully. Actual Content view is published successfully. Packages updated successfully: Upgraded: selinux-policy-3.14.3-54.el8_3.2.noarch selinux-policy-targeted-3.14.3-54.el8_3.2.noarch sudo-1.8.29-6.el8_3.1.x86_64 tzdata-2021a-1.el8.noarch Verified on 6.8.4_01, pulp-server-2.21.4-2.el7sat.noarch, pulp-rpm-plugins-2.21.4-2.el7sat.noarch
My apologies, I put the wrong version of pulp in the previous comment. The correct versions are: pulp-rpm-plugins-2.21.3.3-1.el7sat.noarch and pulp-server-2.21.3.2-1.el7sat.noarch
