Hello, Please note that this comment was generated automatically. If you feel that this output has mistakes, please contact me via email (mhroncok). Your package (open-policy-agent) Fails To Install in Fedora 34: can't install golang-github-open-policy-agent-opa-devel: - nothing provides golang(github.com/wasmerio/go-ext-wasm/wasmer) needed by golang-github-open-policy-agent-opa-devel-0.26.0-1.fc34.noarch If you know about this problem and are planning on fixing it, please acknowledge so by setting the bug status to ASSIGNED. If you don't have time to maintain this package, consider orphaning it, so maintainers of dependent packages realize the problem. If you don't react accordingly to the policy for FTBFS/FTI bugs (https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/), your package may be orphaned in 8+ weeks. P.S. The data was generated solely from koji buildroot, so it might be newer than the latest compose or the content on mirrors. P.P.S. If this bug has been reported in the middle of upgrading multiple dependent packages, please consider using side tags: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/rawhide-gating/multi-builds/ Thanks!
Disabling the test with -t internal/wasm/sdk is not sufficent to remove wasmer, you also need to exclude internal/wasm/sdk from the build otherwise the dependency checker will pick up github.com/wasmerio/go-ext-wasm/wasmer as a dependency. This won't be easy as other part of the code depends on internal/wasm being present, like resolver/wasm/
Thank you Robert-André for your comment. It should actually be possible to remove the wasmer dependency, as wasmer is only used when the tag "opa_wasm" is passed to Go build (which is the default in the Makefile, but not the case here). So I'll try to remove the dependency. On the other hand, I'm also working to package golang(github.com/wasmerio/go-ext-wasm/wasmer), which implies packaging the Rust library wasmer. This is on its way, but there are lot of dependencies...
Release 0.26.0-2 should fix the issue. https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=60587727
Yeah I took a look at wasmer, and the dependency chain is a pita.
Hello, Please note that this comment was generated automatically. If you feel that this output has mistakes, please contact me via email (mhroncok). All subpackages of a package against which this bug was filled are now installable or removed from Fedora 34. Thanks for taking care of it!
