Description of problem:
Hint when vertical navigation is collapsed does not work properly

How reproducible:
Use a quickstart with highlights to devNav items

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Add a QuickStart with DevNav item highlights
2.Close the SidenavBar by clicking on the collapse/expand button on SideNavHeader
3.Click on a highlight link to DevNavItem

Actual results:
Nothing should be highlighted if the NavItem doesn't exist

Expected results:
An undesired highlight box appears

We have this on our Jira backlog and will fix this in 4.8.
