RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Comment 2 Laine Stump 2021-02-10 19:31:53 UTC
In addition to the 3 patches given in Bug 913446 Comment 19, and the 10 patches in Bug 1908053 Comment 11, and the one patch in Bug 1918674 Comment 1, there is also this bugfix:

commit 4aa1ab0e799aecd88392ea40d70b9f929d44bc4b
Author: Julio Faracco <jcfaracco>
Date: Sat Apr 25 13:35:37 2020 -0300

My Customer reached out and let me know
This errata did not fix or Add the features in RHEL 8, like the Original BZ was asking about.

What can we do to move this forward?

Comment 10 Michal Privoznik 2021-12-17 08:18:17 UTC
Joshua, how did the customer test the errata? I mean, it's not released yet. Did they get a build to test?
If so, can you shed more light into what were they testing and how? What's the expected output?

Comment 11 jloscar 2022-03-01 00:06:00 UTC
Michal,

I must have mis-read when this feature was In a past errata.

When is it scheduled to release?

I have a meeting in the morning and would love to be able to give them a status update.
