Github konveyor forklift-ui pull 420 0 None open Bug 1928766: Add Provider ownerReferences to Host CRs 2021-02-15 21:13:03 UTC
Red Hat Product Errata RHEA-2021:2381 0 None None None 2021-06-10 17:11:37 UTC

Description Fabien Dupont 2021-02-15 14:03:34 UTC
Description of problem:

As a user, when I delete the Provider CR, I would expect the Host CRs to be deleted, in order to not have leftovers. The Host does only exist in the context of a Provider.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.0.0-beta.1

Additional info:

I would probably be easily implemented by setting the owner reference on the Host CR to reference the Provider.

Comment 1 Jeff Ortel 2021-02-15 14:48:33 UTC
The UI needs to create the Host CR with the owner reference to the Provider.

Comment 2 Fabien Dupont 2021-02-15 15:23:44 UTC
Thanks. Reassigning to Mike.

Comment 3 Mike Turley 2021-02-15 21:14:29 UTC
Thanks Fabien + Jeff. Added a PR to set these ownerRefs. https://github.com/konveyor/forklift-ui/pull/420
