Description Nenad Peric 2021-02-17 15:39:20 UTC
Description of problem:

When a new cluster is added via the UI, the modal window shows the new cluster as connected.
The underlying page. however, shows connection failed in red.

Since this modal has to be manually closed, it gives two conflicting pieces of information.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

1.4.0

How reproducible:
Everytime

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Clusters, Add cluster
2. Add a reachable OCP3 cluster
3. The modal dialog will say Success, the list in the background shows Failed.

Actual results:

Expected results:

Update both the modal and the background information.

or

On success, automatically close the modal dialog and just show the list of clusters.

Verified using MTC 1.5.0

  openshift-migration-rhel7-operator@sha256:00e77706ca22bcb557d13c16822180fc877e6ea1639a72fda8eb9f5488b039a2

Now when we add a new migration cluster the background screen will show "Pending" status. The modal will show "Connection successful" and once the modal is closed the background is updated with the right status.

Moved to VERIFIED.
