Description Ian Laurie 2021-02-25 00:00:03 UTC
Description of problem:
Logged into Xfce from the greeter.
SELinux is preventing avahi-daemon from 'read' accesses on the file environ.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests **************************

If you believe that avahi-daemon should be allowed read access on the environ file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# ausearch -c 'avahi-daemon' --raw | audit2allow -M my-avahidaemon
# semodule -X 300 -i my-avahidaemon.pp

I am having this on 4 virtual machines and one native machine (all my fc34 test machines have this issue with latest selinux-policy-3.14.7-25.fc34.noarch).

Also see bug #1932696.
