Hi, you recently dropped php-imap from your package https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/php/c/d2d89df9de6d026b80f56ff495b15ecb1cc2f1b2?branch=rawhide Unfortunately, the nextcloud package requires php-imap for some of its functionality that I would prefer not to remove. What made it necessary to drop php-imap and how can I help to keep it in?
imap extension needs libc-client provided by uw-imap This a dead and unmaintained project for > 10 years (the reason why not in Enterprise Distribution, e.g. RHEL) AS uw-imap have been remove from Fedora, we cannot provide this extension anymore If someone is crazy enough to take ownership of uw-imap and make it available in Fedora, imap extension will be back Sorry, but can't fix for now
OK, that makes sense. I'll get in touch with nextcloud upstream to see about getting rid of this dep.
