Description of problem: /usr/include/linux/joystick.h is version 1.1 and should be version 1.3 This is the evil that gives you grief in communicating with joydev. The solution is to get a copy of joystick.h from the kernel-devel or kernel source rpm. /usr/src/kernels/2.6.16-1.2122_FC5-i686/include/linux/joystick.h or /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/kernel-2.6.16/vanilla/include/linux/joystick.h respectively I wonder how many other header files in /usr/include/linux are years out of synch with the kernel. Please upgrade /usr/include/linux/joystick.h to version 1.3 ************************************************************* Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Yes, the glibc-kernheaders in FC5 were horribly out of date. We can produce them directly from the kernel now, and we're doing so in rawhide. Some day soon I'll build up the courage to switch FC5 over to the new scheme. That involves nobody filing new glibc-kernheaders in rawhide for a few weeks though :)
Fixed in Fedora7 kernel-headers-2.6.23.12-52.fc7
