Hi Daniel. The 4.5 release is already in maintenance stage and will EOL with 4.8 which is only a couple months left. It seems that this is fixed in 4.6 and I would strongly encourage your customer to update to that version as soon as possible (especially since 4.5 will be EOL very soon). At this time and since there is really not much time left on 4.5, we would not really want to go through a backport process. Does that make sense? Hi Christian, Understood. After much push back from the customer's tenant, we have changed course since and we are currently working with them on getting them upgraded to 4.6. Thanks! Closing as NEXTRELEASE in favour of https://github.com/openshift/cluster-logging-operator/pull/676 which fixed the issue in 4.6.1. |
