Marking this as CLOSED ERRATA, as this was never a problem on 4.7 and the code should already be existing on 4.7.0 (see https://github.com/openshift/ovn-kubernetes/commit/4efbb59969223c4090c572be2c99d7280a871c8e#diff-4a0eb88d0c1802a206255c76a5ac0179ba3cee06dd9acd43bf41b87ab55075e8). The backport never happened though, so this is why this is needed.
