See https://pagure.io/design/issue/688 It looks like the extension is harded coded to the lightbackground version of the logo. This version was created for the very light Fedora 26 wallpaper: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/File:F26-final-day-default-wallpaper-standard.png However the dark version of the file is a better default as pretty much ever other wallpaper we've ever had is better suited for that one. It looks like the default logo file from fedora-logos is set in usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/org.fedorahosted.background-logo-extension.gschema.xml This should correct the issue: https://pagure.io/design/issue/raw/files/8965e7849c45e30db6692f6186526d8ef618d6328e3a140879b6337e8681c8f4-org.fedorahosted.background-logo-extension.gschema.xml
It looks like there might still be an issue. Let me investigate a little more, ill try to follow up tomm
OK this is the only change we need for F34: org.fedorahosted.background-logo-extension logo-border 50 Ignore previously posted file.
Should show up in background-logo-extension-40.rc (if released) or background-logo-extension-40.0 otherwise.
