Description Doug Chapman 2006-06-01 21:04:19 UTC
Description of problem:
During a TUI install of rawhide on ia64 (possibly other platforms, doesn't seem
like this would be ia64 specific) anaconda rejects my ip address.

The error is:
You must enter valid IP information to continue

If I use dhcp (which gives the same ip address) I see no problems.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
anaconda-11.1.0.23-1
from build rawhide-20060601

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. during install at the "Network Configuration for eth0" screen
2. deselect the "Configure using DHCP" box
3. enter a hard coded ip address

FYI, the ip/netmask I am using are:
10.12.11.21/255.255.255.0

Actual results:
complains with:
You must enter valid IP information to continue

Expected results:
should work just fine
