Experiencing a similar SIGSEGV abort (crash_function st_focus_manager_remove_group) whenever I log out of gnome. All desktop applications already closed before logging out. Unable to report problem using gnome abort tool - retrace job fails. Up-to-date F34 5.11.18-300.fc34.x86_64.

Similar problem has been detected: Logging in to a GNOME Wayland session, no other action, crash notified as soon as the desktop is shown. reporter: libreport-2.15.2 backtrace_rating: 4 cgroup: 0::/user.slice/user-1000.slice/user/session.slice/org.gnome.Shell cmdline: /usr/bin/gnome-shell crash_function: st_focus_manager_remove_group executable: /usr/bin/gnome-shell journald_cursor: s=d77d2eec2c8a4666860c9060f88c1a08;i=1102f0;b=de458724b1414cd79c450a7c54c735c2;m=194becc23b;t=5c4e80f47b309;x=e434af5aa3632037 kernel: 5.12.10-300.fc34.x86_64 package: gnome-shell-40.2-1.fc34 reason: gnome-shell killed by SIGSEGV rootdir: / runlevel: N 5 type: CCpp uid: 1000
Similar problem has been detected: I can not describe the circumstances when the crash happened. I did not observe any problems during an active gnome desktop session, but everytime when I log into a new session, I get such crash reports. I must happen either during closing gnome desktop session or not logged in. reporter: libreport-2.15.2 backtrace_rating: 4 cgroup: 0::/user.slice/user-1000.slice/user/session.slice/org.gnome.Shell cmdline: /usr/bin/gnome-shell crash_function: st_focus_manager_remove_group dso_list: /usr/bin/gnome-shell gnome-shell-40.2-1.fc34.x86_64 (Fedora Project) 1623559892 executable: /usr/bin/gnome-shell journald_cursor: s=f9feeef08e564573b9cecd98b0f938f1;i=1156ca;b=c2531c2f717b4985bc2bf24580a13e84;m=1ec95a0fd2d;t=5c4e6468788e0;x=bb50d09184c1001c kernel: 5.11.21-300.fc34.x86_64 package: gnome-shell-40.2-1.fc34 reason: gnome-shell killed by SIGSEGV rootdir: / runlevel: N 5 type: CCpp uid: 1000
I am pretty sure, that it is related to closing session. I tried to log off using the menu and I tried the gnome-session-quit command. In parallel, I logged into the system using ssh. A new abrt entry appeared.
