Dob date error

Description of problem:
New patient creation accepts invalid year for the DOB field

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch openEmr
2.click patient tab
3.click on add new patient tab
4.Enter the following details
Name: jayamini sulokshana samarathunga
Dob: selected 2024-03-06 from the calender

Actual results:
The patient is created and age is -36 month

Expected results:
eithor an error message or it should have prevented the creation of patient with invalid dob date

Is this meant to be a bug in openEMR? 

nivethika, can you please select the correct component from the drop-down? It should be the name of the package, not "Package Review". Please let us know if you need help with this.

Hi. I am a little confused from this bug.
First, Package Review component is used for reviewing new packages, not bugs in existing ones.
Second, I don't understand, first you selected Fedora as product, then you chose Windows as OS.
Third, I didn't manage to find openEmr package. I only found closed/wontfix Package Review for the package[1].
Maybe this should be reported to upstream[2].
