Hi guys,
Unless I'm mistaken, this is resolved in rhbz#1845559

While looking into customer question:

> In the VirtualInterfaceCreateException code, what is mean by destroy_disks_on_failure ?

[1] customer container is nova-compute:13.0-119
[2] container package version is openstack-nova-compute-17.0.12-1.el7ost.noarch
[3] nova-compute:13.0-163 (latest) package ver is openstack-nova-compute-17.0.13-35.el7ost.noarch
[4] reviewing latest src rpm, it appears this problem is fixed in patch 0128

Subject: [PATCH] libvirt: Don't delete disks on shared storage during evacuate

When evacuating an instance between compute hosts on shared storage,
during the rebuild operation we call spawn() on the destination
compute. spawn() currently assumes that it should cleanup all
resources on failure, which results in user data being deleted in the
evacuate case.

This change modifies spawn in the libvirt driver such that it only
cleans up resources it created.

Upon further review, I'm still not sure about the VirtualInterfaceCreateException, but the ask about the deleted disk is answered.
