Comment 4 Wei Wang 2021-05-10 10:29:55 UTC
Hi Sandro,

Test with RHEL-8.4.0-20210309.1-x86_64-dvd1.iso
[root@dell-perxxx-xx ~]# cat /etc/os-release
NAME="Red Hat Enterprise Linux"
VERSION="8.4 (Ootpa)"
ID="rhel"
ID_LIKE="fedora"
VERSION_ID="8.4"
PLATFORM_ID="platform:el8"
PRETTY_NAME="Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 Beta (Ootpa)"
ANSI_COLOR="0;31"
CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:redhat:enterprise_linux:8.4:beta"
HOME_URL="https://www.redhat.com/"
DOCUMENTATION_URL="https://access.redhat.com/documentation/red_hat_enterprise_linux/8/"

REDHAT_BUGZILLA_PRODUCT="Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8"
REDHAT_BUGZILLA_PRODUCT_VERSION=8.4
REDHAT_SUPPORT_PRODUCT="Red Hat Enterprise Linux"
REDHAT_SUPPORT_PRODUCT_VERSION="8.4 Beta"

There is a dependence issue as below:
[root@dell-perxxx-xx ~]# dnf install python3-brewkoji
Updating Subscription Management repositories.
Unable to read consumer identity

This system is not registered to Red Hat Subscription Management. You can use subscription-manager to register.

Last metadata expiration check: 0:12:31 ago on Mon 10 May 2021 06:14:03 PM CST.
Error:
 Problem: package python3-brewkoji-1.26-1.el8.noarch requires python3-koji >= 1.13, but none of the providers can be installed
  - conflicting requests
  - nothing provides python3-pyOpenSSL needed by python3-koji-1.24.0-2.el8.noarch
(try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages or '--nobest' to use not only best candidate packages)

Is there something wrong with my environment or steps? Thanks!

Confirm with Sandro, QE will verify this bug after the new build of rhvm-appliance coming.
