Impossible to live migrate using contrail2011 on platform OSP16, the live-migration fails with this log on the compute node:
2021-03-30 12:43:47.278 7 ERROR oslo_messaging.rpc.server NotImplementedError: Cannot load 'vif_type' in the base class

yes this is a know issue.

i have already fixed this in upstream master and it has been backported to ussuri but not train or osp 16 at this time.
currenlty it should not have been possible for contrail to have completed certification on any realase of osp 16 so we shoudl not have
any customer impacted by this bug alothough it might have blocked upgrades or new deploymetents.

we will be doing bug triage tommorow so we will complete triage of this then however it is vaild.
