Comment 2 Miro Hrončok 2021-03-31 13:05:38 UTC
pip in rawhide has bundled(python3dist(urllib3)) = 1.26.2, so this likely affects all Feodra versions.

Comment 3 Miro Hrončok 2021-03-31 13:09:07 UTC
Actually, we have:

Fedora 32: 1.25.6
Fedora 33: 1.25.9
Fedora 34: 1.26.2
Fedora 35: 1.26.2

And the original reports says "urllib3 library 1.26.x before 1.26.4".

Comment 4 Tomas Hoger 2021-04-01 21:09:14 UTC
Released Fedora versions should be unaffected because of using pre-1.26.0 urllib3 version in pip. F34+ as of pip 20.3.3 includes urllib3 1.26.

Comment 5 Miro Hrončok 2021-04-02 00:40:19 UTC
Upstream PR: https://github.com/pypa/pip/pull/9760

Comment 7 Miro Hrončok 2021-05-20 13:52:55 UTC
Fixed in rawhide.
F34 has a pending update https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-3f378dda90 -- I'd mark it as fixing this bugzilla, but it is locked while being pushed to testing.

Comment 8 Fedora Update System 2021-05-21 10:26:25 UTC
FEDORA-2021-3f378dda90 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 34. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-3f378dda90

Comment 9 Fedora Update System 2021-05-24 01:01:16 UTC
FEDORA-2021-3f378dda90 has been pushed to the Fedora 34 stable repository.
If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report.
