Latest upstream release: 3.2.2 Current version/release in rawhide: 3.2.1-1.fc35 URL: https://github.com/mhogomchungu/lxqt_wallet Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/ More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. FEDORA-2021-da96a58834 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 34. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-da96a58834
Thanks for the update, but it appears that upstream is including the patch release in their soversion currently, so that means this has caused an soname bump from liblxqt-wallet.so.3.2.0 to liblxqt-wallet.so.3.2.2 and caused the Zulucrypt FTI bug. I can fix that on rawhide, but we should coordinate the update for F34 so that no packages have FTI issues.
Okay, please let me know about rebuild of zulucrypt in F34 and I can add to bodhi, you may need a buildroot override. To not break anything by karma, lxqt-wallet update is still in testing and now with disabled auto-request. Are you interested to become a co-maintainer of lxqt-wallet for better coordination?

To not break anything by karma, lxqt-wallet update is still in testing and now with disabled auto-request. I have rebuilt zulucrypt in both rawhide and f34. Rawhide is through now, and the f34 build should be ready to add to the lxqt-wallet update. Also, can you add bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1948768 to the Bodhi update with the zulucrypt build please? > Are you interested to become a co-maintainer of lxqt-wallet for better coordination? Sure, that would be fine. My FAS is imcinerney.
Thanks but bodhi refuses to let me add your update with error Builds : raphgro does not have commit access to zulucrypt Added you with commit ACL to lxqt-wallet.
FEDORA-2021-da96a58834 has been pushed to the Fedora 34 testing repository. Soon you'll be able to install the update with the following command: `sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --advisory=FEDORA-2021-da96a58834` You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-da96a58834 See also https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for more information on how to test updates.
Hmm, that is a problem. I don't have permissions to add people to the zulucrypt package because I am only commit level and not admin/maintainer (only fab has those permissions I believe), so I can't add you there to solve it. Maybe we try doing these updates separate and pushing as they are done - we may run into the installability issue briefly, but it should only be a day or so maybe (and if we are lucky, they both might end up in the first push after release). Thoughts?
Let's try to modify you as admin of lxqt-wallet, please retry to add zulucrypt update in bodhi combined with already lxqt-wallet entry.
That worked. I have added the zulucrypt build to the existing lxqt-wallet update, and so now it should be good.
FEDORA-2021-da96a58834 has been pushed to the Fedora 34 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report.
