Description Michael Catanzaro 2021-04-07 20:28:35 UTC
Running Epiphany in F34, I see an annoying warning spam on the command line:

warning: xnack 'Off' was requested for a processor that does not support it!

Daniel Stone says: "the 'xnack' warning is you having upgraded LLVM before Mesa, there are fixes to the radeonsi Mesa driver in flight to fix that (and IIRC some amdgpu kernel changes as well), so it should go away in a week or so assuming you're on rawhide"

I don't understand much, but this is happening on F34 with: llvm-libs-12.0.0-0.1.rc1.fc34, mesa-libGL-21.0.1-4.fc34, kernel-5.11.11-300.fc34.

Comment 2 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2021-04-08 02:50:16 UTC
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 34-final by Fedora user pwalter using the blocker tracking app because:

It would be nice to have the fixes on the install media to avoid everybody getting the warnings on clean installs.

We already received a FE nomination for mesa in bug 1942776, I'll merge this into into it.
