Description jquinn 2021-04-14 19:37:58 UTC
Describe the issue: Lifecycle transition is listed as supported in section 3.6 "Addition of storage classes and lifecycle transitions to the Ceph Object Gateway"[1], and in the same document it's listed as tech preview under section 5.3 "Tiering within a cluster by disk type" [2]

According to the following blog [3] it is showing as supported. There is the following BZ [4] for an RFE for this to be documented, which is currently targeted and being tested in RHCS 5. We will need these steps documented for RHCS 4.x as well since we have customers now asking for this information.

Describe the task you were trying to accomplish:To remove the tech preview portion since we have multiple locations saying it's now supported in current releases, and to ensure we have documented steps on how to implement in 4.x.
