Creating this bug because I couldn't find an open bug that addresses it and the blocker/FE process requires a BZ. The latest pipewire update[1] apparently fixes a lot of outstanding sound bugs[2] but it it's caught in the freeze. Proposed as a Blocker for 34-final by Fedora user bcotton using the blocker tracking app because: Previous pipewire builds violate the Beta criterion: > The installed system must be able to play back sound with gstreamer-based applications. At least conditionally with Bluetooth output.
Discussed during the 2021-04-19 blocker review meeting: [0] The decision to classify this bug as an "AcceptedFreezeException (Final)" was made as there wasn't a clear blocker vote on this, but there's a strong consensus for FE and the fix is already tested and ready, so we will just take that and move on.
