Because Red Hat uses --disable-isc-spnego in their builds since version BIND 9.5.0, therefore it have not used ISC implementation for long time. Any issues in that code are not reachable in any our builds. New version would have that flag removed just because upstream removed built-in support completely, including this configure flag. GSS code would remain unchanged in our builds.
