Description of problem: Sometime recently, while I was using Fedora 33, around March 2021, the middle mouse paste function stopped working. I upgraded to Fedora 34 yesterday (30/4/2021) and still have the problem. None of the (mainly closed) bugs seem to be quite this problem. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora 33 and 34. plasma-systemsettings-5.21.4-1.fc34.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Highlight text with left mouse drag. 2. Focus somewhere pastable. 3. Single click middle mouse button. Actual results: Nothing Expected results: Test pasted. Additional info: The component plasma-systemsettings may not be where the problem lies, but I certainly expected to find a menu option to turn on middle mouse pasting.
PS. This bug/regression or whatever happens in both X and Wayland.
