org.freedesktop.GnomeAbrt happens when I am opening MEGA and using the Gnome Desktop switcher using Super (Windows) key. @alanallen
Thanks for a bug report. This might be related to bug #1951178, I guess, but I'm not sure. (In reply to josh from comment #13) > happens when I am opening MEGA and using the Gnome Desktop switcher using > Super (Windows) key. Could you explain what the above means, please? I do not follow what MEGA means. A set of steps what to press/click on, to reproduce the crash, is more than welcome.

Every time I run GIMP the system crashes. Cold boot, warm boot, resume from suspend ... no matter.
Gimp still crashing gnome. Video that was playing, audio still plays, screen black Screen goes blank Keyboard does nothing, unplugging 2nd monitor does nothing BUT unplugging the power causes system to respond with the "click" This was done using .... mesa-libGLU-9.0.1-4.fc34.x86_64 mesa-libGLU-devel-9.0.1-4.fc34.x86_64 mesa-libglapi-21.1.4-1.fc34.x86_64 mesa-libgbm-21.1.4-1.fc34.x86_64 mesa-libGL-21.1.4-1.fc34.x86_64 mesa-filesystem-21.1.4-1.fc34.x86_64 mesa-dri-drivers-21.1.4-1.fc34.x86_64 mesa-libGL-devel-21.1.4-1.fc34.x86_64 mesa-libEGL-21.1.4-1.fc34.x86_64 mesa-libOSMesa-21.1.4-1.fc34.x86_64 mesa-libxatracker-21.1.4-1.fc34.x86_64 mesa-vulkan-drivers-21.1.4-1.fc34.x86_64
I don't know if this has anything to do with anything ... but I don't hear the fans ramping up & down ... after reboot, things seem better, fans responsive to temperature
Definite fan problem ... it seems that above 145F, fans stop
Brent, I'm wondering how you've got here, maybe a mistake on the ABRT side? I do not see a direct dependency on the PackageKit in GIMP, though maybe it has got pulled in by a plugin or something. In any case, there are a lot of people CC-ed here, every comment you write sends a notification to each of them. Try to limit the comments to a minimum, please.
.... Guess I shouldn't watch GAME OF THRONES while commenting on tickets ... (will move to correct ticket, thanks).

There is a PackageKit update with a fix included here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-34927f6e44 You can use: $ sudo dnf upgrade --advisory=FEDORA-2021-34927f6e44 to update to it. The update requires restart of the `packagekitd` process, to be sure it uses the new bits.
