Description of problem: There is impossible to create shapes with Spline-Tool, when you want to join the last vertex with the first one, when you do right-click and release the key the menu disappear. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): synfigstudio version 1.2.2-11 windows system: wayland, xorg graphic: NVD9 fedora 34 workstation How reproducible: Always, the issue is observed each time. Steps to Reproduce: 1. activities> search synfigstudio> Open 2. select Spline-Tool 3. In layer type (right side) uncheck all, only check Create-a-region-layer 4. click 3 separate vertex for example, try to join the 4th vertex with the first one 5. right-click and release, the menu doesn't remain visible. Actual results: The menu does not remain visible after right click and release. Expected results: -after right click and release the key, the menu remain visible, then we can select Loop-Spline. Additional info: -I was following this video tutorial to create a shape https://youtu.be/5GlzkGWHCnA?t=115 - in fedora 34 workstation, a quick solution is install SynfigStudio from flathub, the default version is 1.4.0, and there is no problem, with this create a shape is possible.
Oof, yeah, I can reproduce that. Let me see about updating to 1.4.0.
