.Users can now view more details in the `Persistent cache state` section With this release, the `rbd status` command provides more details in the `Persistent cache state` section such as whether the cache is present, and other metrics such as the number of bytes used, hits, and misses.

let's target 5.1z1 or the async that has been under discussion for April. Assuming, that is, that we have a fix quickly enough to.

Thanks IIya. was able to get the values for cache misses as below when read is performed when cache is flushed to the OSD. 

    misses: 108
    miss_bytes: 3.4 MiB
