Description of problem: The font-awesome it isn't updated. What can be done about this? How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install font awesome via dnf 2. See the version of it. Actual results: Actual version is 4.7 Expected results: Version 5.15, maybe Additional info: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1808064 https://fontawesome.com/changelog/latest
There has been some recent discussion on the mailing list, see https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/message/BC6CW5LY2ZLGW6QITUN76SBUBT4DNXL4/ The current version/package seems to be under-maintained, and I am somewhat guilty as well here, but don't use it anymore. However, versions 4 and 5 are not backwards compatible, but there is also a new package review https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1989300

This message is a reminder that Fedora Linux 34 is nearing its end of life. Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora Linux 34 on 2022-06-07.
