Description of problem: After installing the pcl-tools package from EPEL8, the binary "pcl_viewer" is not available. It is available though on my Fedora 34 machine installing the pcl-tools and on any debian based machine. So I am pretty confident the requested binary should be installed with the pcl-tools package. dnf whatprovides output from my F34 machine: pcl-tools-1.11.1-2.fc34.x86_64 : Point cloud tools and viewers Repo : fedora Matched from: Filename : /usr/bin/pcl_viewer Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): pcl-tools-1.11.1-3.el8.x86_64.rpm OS: Oracle Linux Server 8.3 How reproducible: Install pcl-tools package from EPEL8 and try to run $pcl_viewer Steps to Reproduce: 1.dnf install flann-1.9.1-2.el8.x86_64.rpm 2.dnf install pcl-1.11.1-3.el8.x86_64.rpm 3.dnf install pcl-tools-1.11.1-3.el8.x86_64.rpm Actual results: No pcl_viewer binary installed. Expected results: pcl_viewer binary installed. Additional info:
I believe pcl_viewer is not being built because it depends on VTK, which is not yet available in EPEL8.
