Description Sébastien Han 2021-06-02 12:58:56 UTC
Description of problem:

For external mode, OCS needs this BZ https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1862405, which essentially prevents passing details of an rgw from a cluster different than the external cluster currently being added.

By unauthenticated call (ideally), we could reach a path on the rgw and retrieve the ceph cluster fsid it is running on.
