Description Grzegorz Grasza 2021-06-08 13:25:48 UTC
Description of problem:

When backporting a patch enabling Memcached TLS, variable names were not aligned with the puppet-keystone stable/train branch, causing cache to be always disabled.

When backporting another patch, the ability to specify the memcached port was not taken into account, resulting in not being able to specify the memcached port.

https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/puppet-tripleo/+/790423

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

16.2

How reproducible:

Create a deployment, you can also try to specify the default memcached_port in ExtraConfig

Actual results:

Cache is disabled in Keystone.

Expected results:

Keystone memcached cache is enabled and the list of servers is specified.

Port is changed in keystone and other services

Additional info:

This bug tracks enabling keystone cache by default.

I will create a separate bug for puppet-tripleo that will fix track the ability to specify the memcached_port.

Comment 5 Martin Kopec 2021-07-20 12:58:05 UTC
The fix is part of openstack-tripleo-heat-templates-11.5.1-2.20210603174814.el8ost.2 package.

The other fixes mentioned in the LP - https://bugs.launchpad.net/tripleo/+bug/1929752 namely:
* https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/puppet-tripleo/+/790423
* https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/puppet-tripleo/+/793388
are part of the puppet-tripleo-11.6.2-2.20210603175724.f642d04.el8ost package tracked by the https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1969459 which depends on this one.

I'm marking this as Verified.
