Description Allie DeVolder 2021-06-14 19:31:32 UTC
Description of problem:
When attempting to modify the LDAP timeout values for the aaa plugin, RHV-M does not recognize the change in configuration.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHV-M 4.4.5-11-0.1

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install RHV-M
2. Configure aaa plugin for LDAP
3. Follow instructions in KCS article https://access.redhat.com/solutions/3031791 to modify the timeout

Actual results:
"5000 milliseconds timeout error" as per customer

Expected results:
Timeout value modified and successful connection within the new timeout.

Additional info:

That document lists the following:
~~~
.pool.default.connection-options.connectTimeoutMillis
.pool.default.connection-options.responseTimeoutMillis
~~~

We've tried with the preceding '.' and without, and also tried including this line, as documented upstream, even though it should be an example line:
~~~
pool.default.connection-options.@ATTRIBUTE@ = value
~~~

Moving back to ON_QA with the same reason as in BZ1964522
