Description of problem: Network latency is being tested against nodes with the same role. When selected role is Automatic, than all nodes with Automatic role will be checked based on worker threshold (and not masters, as expected for part of the nodes) Therefore, it was suggested to "disable" network latency and packet loss validations (sufficient-network-latency-requirement-for-role, sufficient-packet-loss-requirement-for-role), in case assigned role is Automatic Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Staging v1.0.22.1 Additional info: Open question about partial role assignment i.e 2 masters with master role, 1 with automatic
Fixed in https://github.com/openshift/assisted-service/pull/2053
Changed so that when a host is in autoassign role, the network latency and packet loss validation will always return success.
@lalon can you retest with the latest build?
Please move the bug to ON_QA
As in the comment #4 moving to ON_QA
Verified on Integration - Automatic role is now ignored. Covered by test: test_latency_automatic_role
Verified on Staging OCP-Metal-v1.0.23.1
